Formerly known as the NWCP group, SpankGuys UK is a club based in the North West of England for men over the age of 18 who share an interest in adult consensual corporal punishment. Our purpose is to provide a welcoming space for like-minded individuals to meet and engage in related activities.

Meetings are held on the first Friday evening and the third Saturday afternoon of each month at the Eagle Bar in Manchester's famous Village.

The venue features a bar, a communal play area, and several smaller, semi-private, dimly lit spaces for those preferring greater discretion.

We comprise a community of individuals who enjoy participating in safe, sane, and consensual corporal punishment, spanking, and bondage activities. Attendees can expect a supportive environment with ample opportunities for interaction.

Participants have the opportunity to engage in activities, observe, and gain knowledge about corporal punishment and spanking. There is no obligation to take part - many members attend simply to socialise, observe, or establish connections for private one-to-one sessions.

The group is hosted by Steve (also known as Peter Powney).

We meet downstairs in the Eagle bar on Bloom Street, Manchester on:

  • The first Friday evening of every month, from 6:30 until approximately 10:30 PM
  • The third Saturday afternoon of each month, from 1:00 until 5:00 PM.

The entry fee is £10. You may pay by cash or card.

We are two streets behind Manchester's famous Canal Street, opposite Chorlton Street coach station.

Piccadilly railway station and the Manchester metrolink are just a few minutes walk away.

There is a surface car park and a multi-storey car park on the other side of the road to the Eagle Bar, and metered on-street parking nearby.

On-street parking is generally free after 8PM. Pay at the meter if you arrive before then. There are plenty of other nearby car parks. It's well worth checking the price before you park, as some can be very expensive. You can often save money by downloading the NCP app to your phone and paying online.

On entering the building, proceed down the stairs to the basement and look for the SpankGuys signs - or follow the sounds!

Q: It's the first time I've been to a "spanking club" - what goes on?

A: Probably less than you are imagining! We are just a group of men, of all ages and backgrounds who share an interest in adult consensual corporal punishment. We are a sociable group, so many of us will probably be standing around chatting over a beer or coke. However, most of us are also there for some fun as well, so you should expect to see plenty of people over someone's knee being spanked and paddled, or bending over the furniture for a more serious caning or strapping.

Q: I've never been to a club like this before. Would I be welcome?

A: Yes! We are always happy to welcome newcomers, of ALL ages over 18. We won't bite or hurt you (unless you ask nicely!). You are most welcome to just come along and watch what is going on. If you like what you see, and would like to take part, that's fine. No-one will ever force you to do anything you don't want.

Q: Do you have a changing area and cloak room?

A: Not as such, but should you need to, you can get changed in the gents toilets.

Coats and bags may be left with the person collecting the entrance fee, who will keep them by his desk (at your own risk)

Q: If I do come along, will I be able to find someone to play with?

A: You should be able to. If you make yourself known to the organiser Steve, he should make you welcome and introduce you to one or two of the others if you like.

On entry, you will be offered a sticker marked "T" for Top (Spanker), "B" for Bottom (Recipient), or "S" for Switch (Both)

Unfortunately most of us have yet to perfect the art of mind reading, so if you see something going on that looks interesting, wait until play has finished, and introduce yourself. If you'd like to be spanked, ask the top if he'll deal with you. Similarly, if you'd like to deal with another boy, ask him. We are generally a very friendly crowd, and enjoy being approached.

Q: I want to be spanked or caned for the first time. Will it hurt?

A: Yes, it probably will - maybe quite a bit at first, but isn't that what you want? Most people find it becomes rather enjoyable after a while, but if not, say so.

Most "tops" will start off gradually, and slowly build up the intensity.

Unlike when corporal punishment was used for real, the spankee can always ask the "top" to stop or ease off. One of the advantages of a group like this is that there are always other people around keeping a discreet eye on things, so you can be sure that no-one will ever force you to do something you do not want.

Q: What sort of people come along to the meetings?

A: It does vary, but at a typical meeting there would be between 30 and 70 or more guys from all walks of life. We cater for all ages from 18 upwards. The majority of members are probably in their 40s and 50s, but there are usually some younger and quite a few older. We have members in all sorts of professions. There is usually a good mix of spankers, spankees, and some who enjoy the best of both worlds.

Q: What about equipment?

A: Many people like to bring along their own favourite spanking implements. We also have a large selection of canes, paddles and straps you may borrow for use at the club. Please look after them and return when you've finished so that others may enjoy them.

Q: I will be traveling a long way. Is there anywhere I can stay overnight?

A: There are plenty of hotels nearby, from "cheap and cheerful" to 5-star luxury. A quick Google search should find plenty. Be aware though that availability may fall and prices rise if there is a major football match or other event that weekend, so try to book early

Q: Do I need to become an Eagle Bar Member?

A: Although it is unlikely, you may be asked if you are an Eagle Bar member. If not, this can be done on entry to the club and is free of charge. Your details will be kept private and not used to contact you unless you opt-in.
